Referring to this (issue)[https://github.com/moby/moby/issues/29179], added --storage-driver=overlay at the end of the line defining ExecStart and tried sudo systemctl daemon-reload;sudo systemctl daemon-reload ;sudo apt -f install.

Worked for me.
